Ack. Missed a bit there.

Last weekend I went to the LIncoln basketball game on Friday with Macy. Saturday was spent at the theater with Scott and then home. Sunday was quiet at home also.

This week has brought a major snow to DM and most of the US, it seems. We are expecting about 7" here and school is already closed for tomorrow. But southeast Iowa is getting hammered!

Time flies! Had to go to the dr. again today, this time just my regular PA. That was okay. Tomorrow Macy is going to Sleepy Hollow tubing with her class. The low overnight tonight is to be -11 and the high tomorrow is 12. Doesn't sound like fun to me, but hopefully she will have a good time. Trying to make sure she has enough layers.

Monday I went to the doctor for my feet - bad flare up and now been taking Prednisone for the week. So far, so good. They are feeling alot better. Have to go for a recheck on Wednesday.

Still working on planning out my projects. I will do something on them this weekend!!! I will, I will, I will. I do at least have some ideas in my head.

Note to self: 52 - Art Center. There are more but I'm forgetting things that I haven't documented yet. :( gotta get busy on that.

Another quiet weekend - not that there's a problem with that! Friday - Scott and I ran to Ankeny because he needed to exchange a battery charger and then we met Wendy at Sambetti's for dinner (first visit of the year!). Saturday we didn't do anything - had McDonald's for supper, Macy had Alyssa spend the night - Scott had class all day to get his hunter safety instructor certification. Today, quiet again - he went hunting, the rest of us slept in. Tonight we had goulash for supper and Dixie came over - brownies/banana splits for dessert. Not much progress made around the house - but I am getting lots of ideas from online galleries. :)

Snow. Snow. More snow. That's what I've missed blogging about. LOL

Monday I was to have a work meeting that was cancelled due to the weather.
Tuesday I slid to work and home, after picking up the kids at school. They both stayed after so they wouldn't have to walk to the bus stop. Smart kids. LOL Then we took Brady to snowboard by Lincoln which lasted about 10 minutes because the snow was too deep. He plans to go back tomorrow or the next day.
Today was an early out and I took Macy to an appt. at 2:00. Except it was really at 2:30 so we had some time to kill. Ooops. But we got home about 4:00 and it seems like we have been home for dayyyyyssss. At 6:15 I thought it was about 9:00. I don't know why. But I should be tired when I go to bed soon!

I'll hopefully get my other plans in order this weekend and go from there! :)

OK! My documenting projects are getting underway. I will have to find the original plans online and link back to them when I can. But, I have 3 ideas.

New 52 - 52 new adventures this year - from easy to getting out of the box - inspired by a blog between 2 friends that I saw. Adventure 1 is done: went to the Art Center today.

53 Weekends - starting late so hopefully I can piece together our first weekend of the year - but a page every weekend for a year (or more)

And finally - a perpetual calendar I am VERY excited about - assuming I can find everything I need - also copied from a link online - I will post pics when I get it going. I had seen it before but was being OCD because it wasn't the beginning of the year. But I'm jumping in now - I have something for most days so far, but will be able to fill in I think.

Whew! So excited to get these going......:)

Had my work holiday party tonight - fun to see everyone and hang out for awhile at All Play. Zach and Brady were at home, Tiff is at Charlie's and Macy at Alyssa's. Still working on my ideas for the things I mentioned yesterday, but hope to get things together tomorrow. And finish cleaning out my room. And finish Macy's ACT community service hours. LOL Could be a busy, busy day!

Found a couple really cool ideas online today about documenting your year. Would have been nice to find them before the new year started!! LOL But thinking about some of them, if not all. I have a plan tomorrow to work on some of them and see if they are feasible. :) So cool.



Worked tonight at the basketball game in the concession stand. It really wasn't that bad. Time went fairly quick and then we went to dinner with all the workers. Macy has a friend spending the night, Zach worked at the game, Brady's at grandma's and Tiffany is just hanging out. :) Tomorrow we have some things to do and then I am working on the above ideas - I will add if anything works out! :)

Yaaaaa, the plan to blog everyday went right out the window as soon as I got back to work. Bahhhhh.

Last night I had a meeting until after 8, making for a very short evening at home. Finally made it home and then stayed up way too late since I felt like I missed the whole evening. Ergh.

Today was quick, which is nice, but the week still seems like it has gone on forever. I am ready for Friday, except I'm working in the concession stand at Lincoln tomorrow night, which does not excite me. And finishing up this weekend hopefully on the moving of my craft room to free up the bedroom space.

Such is life!

Ahhhh, back to work today! It was a little like a typical Monday, perhaps on steroids? I didn't feel so hot today - little queasy and horrible pain in my left side right under my ribs. I write this more to document for myself - just in case anyone else ever reads this. LOL. I hope to eventually have some readers - and do some fun things on here.

Right now, I need to head off to bed. I'm tired. Boooo.

Ok, I know I technically missed the 2nd by a few minutes. But I'm counting this! Today was fairly noneventful - other than I drank way too much coffee and I have no idea if I'll be able to sleep tonight! Still working on emptying my room - still hoping to scrapbook more - still not having enough time in the day. Back to work tomorrow so I need to go to bed! :)

January 1st. Always love a fresh start! Today has been uneventful so far, but I still have alot to do today. Went on a quick Target run, Starbucks, Hardee's and home. Now I am hoping to clear out alot of my scrapbook room so Zach can use it as a bedroom. Not sure where I am going to put everything! :( I really want to be more active as a scrapper this year so I don't want to leave it all boxed up somewhere. We will see what I come up with.

I hope to blog (sort of) daily - hence the name of the blog. I want to document this year and work on ME! More on that tomorrow.......
